Seeded as Car 1 Hugh Hunter and Andy Marchbank took a clean sweep of stage victories in the Ex Markko Martin/Ex Michael O’Brien Ford Focus WRC03 on the Somerset Stages to take victory by 1 minute 17 seconds.
As well as winning the rally out right, Hugh and Andy claimed the “King of the Hill” title once again setting the quickest time up Porlock Hill. The rally didn’t go as smooth as the times might suggest, a puncture caused Hugh to drop valuable seconds early on.

After two rounds of the British Rally Championship Matthew Cathcart is impressing on his return to rallying, currently 7th overall in the championship and 2nd in class to the experienced Elfyn Evans. For round 3 of the championship Matthew and co-driver James Morgan head north to Carlisle close to the P&R Benn HQ for the Pirelli International Rally, based in the Kielder forest complex.

Despite not competing on a gravel rally for over a year Paul Benn headed north to Aberdeenshire to contest the Granite City Rally in a Ford Focus 02 WRC.
