Flat Out For 2012

The 2012 Rally season is about to get underway and for P&R Benn the Wyedean Rally will mark the first event of the year. The team will be on hand to tend to 5 cars at the Chepstow based event, 4 Ford Focus WRC cars for drivers Michael O’Brien, Daniel O’Brien, Hugh Hunter and Peter Elkins plus a Ford Fiesta R2 for Matthew Cathcart.

Irish man Michael O’Brien will be partnered by Patrick Walsh this year, campaigning the Michael O’Brien Plant Hire Ford Focus 08 WRC in the REIS Get Connected BTRDA Rally Championship and selected other events in the UK and Ireland. Daniel O’Brien (Michael’s son) will have Paul Morris in the hot seat this season and the pair will tackle the Welsh National Rally Championship in the Willow Hire Ford Focus 02 WRC.

 

2008 BTRDA champion Hugh Hunter has sold the championship winning Ford Focus 01 WRC and purchased a Ford Focus 03 WRC for this years attack on the REIS Get Connected BTRDA Rally Championship. The experienced Andy Marchbank will once again fill the passenger seat and keep Hugh under control.

 

Bidding for a 3^rd successive Asphalt Rally Championship, Damian Cole will again use the Ford Focus 05 WRC in the REIS Get Connected MSA Asphalt Rally Championship and James Morgan will call the notes.
